Specialist Leisure is a specialist in the motor trade sector, selling primarily to the burgeoning 4 X 4 market. They provide a one-stop shop for 4 X 4 service, repairs, accessories and customisation projects.
Typical of start up business, the company set up in small premises with analogue telephone lines and standard domestic handsets. However the growth in the business precipitated a move to much larger, modern industrial/retail premises and a need to improve the telephone system for the business.
Avandda reviewed their new operation, which would need to cope with increasing inbound traffic, distributed not only in the retail environment, but also throughout the warehousing and servicing areas. Slick handling of leads generated from an increased advertising spend in a dozen trade publications would also have to be considered.
Avandda recommended a new digital system, which would allow easy transfer of calls around the unit and could also incorporate DECT cordless phones for staff constantly on the move. Call identity allowed users to identify internal and external calls, helping to prioritise customer calls.
Avandda also recommended the use of multiple direct dial numbers, which could be used on the company's advertising. This allowed inbound calls to be tracked to a particular publication, giving accurate and valuable information to assess marketing spend effectiveness.
