TCLT is an organisation, formerly part of Trafford Borough Council, now responsible for six leisure centres in the Manchester area. They required a complete overhaul of their approach to the telephone system and were also suffering financially from a complicated line rental deal on a feature network.

It was important for staff to be able to communicate effectively, not only within the centres, but also between each centre at lowest possible cost.

After initial consultation, Avandda recommended a Samsung OfficeServ 7000 system in each centre, which offered the facility to handle a high number of inbound calls from the general public. In particular auto attendant meant that regular information such as opening times, information on classes and so on could be accessed as a recorded message, freeing up reception staff for other duties.

The system also allowed voice mail within the centre also accessible remotely, conference calling between managers and the ability to record messages where appropriate.
